A film exploring the mundane and daily routine of readying oneself for the day. The task however of 'styling', is something that is uniquely adaptable, but also so very much the same. How do I feel this morning? Will this change what I wear? What side of myself am I ready to show the world?
The Routine was filmed using an iPhone 7+ in Jordyn's kitchen.
SEMESTER 2, YEAR 2 - the dress/act of dressing
Dress is both verb and noun.
A studio based on the concept of the dress, and the daily motions of getting dressed. Focusing on menswear for this semester, Jordyn created an outfit that could be merely adapted and changed depending on the mood of the wearer. Sleeves were modifiable in that they could be removed or interchanged, pants featuring only one leg, a serious side, the other, exposed renditions of underwear.
